Stevenage Packaging are huge fans of the global charity Emmaus and the extraordinary work they do, the amazing impact they have locally through the Hertfordshire branch is a beacon in our community. Emmaus home the homeless indefinitely and enable their companions (the people they work with) to re-discover their sense of worth, transforming their outlook to one of personal fulfilment, something that flows from having meaningful work to do every day. All of this takes place in such an inspirational environment.
Having met and been inspired by their UK President, Humanitarian Terry Waite CBE and their extraordinary CEO John Chesters, we were moved to action and began supporting this impactful charity. This week we were delighted to visit their St Albans Centre, meet some of their companions and see the Refuse Sacks, Twisted Handle Paper bags and Cotton Shopping Bags printed with the Emmaus Logo in their shop. You can support Emmaus by buying one of these bags at any one of their 5 locations around Hertfordshire.
A big thank you to the team for spending time with us and modelling the bags for our informal photo shoot, we had heaps of fun and thank you on behalf of the community for the work that you do.
Members of our retail team, pose with a mix of team members and companions from Emmaus Hertfordshire holding a selection of the printed paper and cotten bags, now available in the Emmaus stores.
Even the Emmaus Pugs wanted to get involved and were amazing as they sat alongside the printed paperbags for the Emmaus nineteen49 shop in Tring.
