One of our long-standing customers came to us looking to upgrade their packing process. They wanted to move away from a manual bag-filling application to a fully automated packing machine that used film. For them, this would be a significant step forward in efficiency.
The customer had already sourced and purchased the new machine, but to run effectively, it required a very specific technical blend of film. To make sure everything worked seamlessly, one of our technical film specialists travelled with the customer to the machine manufacturer in Europe during the build phase. There, we set up the film directly on the machine and carried out trials using the customer’s own products.
