Ethylene enters the factory in gas form and once turned into
polythene it looks like a warm, liquid porridge.

This 'porridge' is then fed through a plate with holes in sets
which produces threads of polythene.

These threads are then cut by rotating blades
producing the polymer granules.

The polymer granules is then the raw material which
is then melted in the next process.
