Appointment of Sales Director
23rd December 2011

Stevenage Packaging Limited are delighted to announce the appointment of Paul McCormack as the company's Sales Director. Paul first joined Stevenage Packaging in 1996 after graduating from University and had a very successful three years culminating his appointment as National Accounts Manager with the company (Paul won the company's Team Member of the Year award in 1998). Having spent the last 11 years working in various specialist sectors of the recruitment industry for large national organisations, Paul is "returning home" to the Packaging Industry with his extensive commercial and industry knowledge and wealth of Management experience to support the company and group's growth plans for 2012 and beyond. This year saw Emma Amondsen win her fourth annual award, this time for 'Founders Group Champion', Company Secretary and Credit Controller Jan Vallis with 23 years' service won 'Founder's Lifetime Dedication' award, Sally Gittens was presented with the 'Founders Values Champion' and 'Founders Best Newcomer' award went to Lisa Tofis who are all pictured celebrating their success.

SPL Team experience awesome service at...

The SPL Team experience awesome service at the fantastic new Little Chef at the Black Cat Roundabout A1M. Mark the Manager who greeted us gave 5 words he would use to describe the company: Advanced, forward thinking, nurturing, caring and open. With the new changes all the team members had 48hours intensive IT training and 22 days of food training. One member of the team at the Little Chef said “this place is now my home address”. The teams and the various restaurants were all encouraged to put forward ideas for the company which were listened to and implemented if required by the Directors of the company, who also regularly personally visit the restaurants. This is not Little Chef as you know it and the SPL team would highly recommend to anybody.

Company Promotion for Emma - 8th August 2011

The company is proud to announce a further promotion of Emma Amondsen to Senior Business Manager. Emma who joined the company 11 years ago, has specialist polythene packaging experience serving a variety of market sectors.

Internally, Emma has won Team Member of the Year on 3 separate occasions and customers can look forward to enjoying her true customer love philosophy.

We would like to welcome our new Customer Services Co-ordinator, Lisa Tofis to the Stevenage Packaging Ltd team. Lisa has 3 years commercial trading experience within the food industry and her transferrable skills and knowledge have already become apparent in her first few weeks with the company.
